Knowledge is power, and that’s exactly what you’ll gain during the Organic Field Day. See the possibilities in organic agriculture; find solutions to organic production problems, and gain skills useful in every day organic applications.

Join faculty, staff and students from the WVU Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design and WVU Extension Service for the 19th annual Organic Field Day and 20th Anniversary Celebration Program on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019. Jam-packed with a variety of learning opportunities – and a lot of fun – the event is perfect for organic farmers, home gardeners and anyone interested in learning more about organic practices. The event is free and open to the public.

Our mission is to conduct scientifically sound research designed to provide best-practice recommendations for organic farmers and home gardeners. This Field Day is part of our education and grower outreach efforts.

We truly hope you enjoy yourselves during your visit to the farm. Feel free to ask questions, walk around, or take pictures. Thank you for joining us and welcome to the West Virginia University Plant and Soil Science Organic Research Farm! Be sure to sign onto our mailing list, and visit us on the web at:
